Pending is our Emerging Artists Programme.  Since Car Crash was founded in 2016 we have prided ourself in the opportunities given to emerging artists and early career artists.

PENDING MISSION:

Pending has the goal of presenting a full fringe production each year as well as 3 shorter works at Theatre Festival Pending each year.  In line with Car Crash Productions mission to present theatre for and by the next generation of theatre go-ers, we want to put the artists at the forefront of the work.

PENDING GOALS:

• To Present 1 fully stage new piece of work each year, that showcases emerging artists in all aspects of the project (writer(s), director(s),
• To Present 3 shorter pieces in our yearly, Theatre Festival Pending, with full access to out production departments.
• To present a platform of scratch work, to artists to try out for.
• To have an open submission to those who wish to participate in our Pending Programme.

Theatre Festival PENDING 2019:

Each year we host Theatre Festival Pending, a festival made of writers, directors, performers and stage managers all at the beginning of their artistic Journey.  This is our flagship festival for Pending, presenting new actors in new plays directed by new Directors. The first festival took place in April 2019, details can be found here.  We are excited that the festival will be coming back in 2020.

Theatre Festival PENDING 2020:

Theatre Festival Pending will return in Mid 2020, with a mix of new work throughout the week presented by emerging artists.  In the lead up to this we are excited to present a scratch platform for pieces to develop and emerge leading up to our final programming of the festival.  As part of this we welcome Sascha Green to our team as the Curator of Pending (sascha@carcrashproductions.com).
